Okay so I decided to go ahead and finish writing this post. Basically, since January 2013, I've decided I want to get healthy, get in shape and lose weight and so on! Normally I'd keep it to myself, but I've found that when I post about things on my blog it helps me stick to them. It's like, even though I'm doing it for myself, I'm making a promise to everyone who reads and sees it. Like I'm being held to succeeding. That may sound weird, but whatever. So, I decided to inspire and motivate myself, I'll be doing monthly health posts. I'll basically be talking about how well I did working out/eating that month, posting what my workout plan for the next month will be, how I feel, if I noticed a difference and so on! I'm excited about officially blogging about it, because I think it will get me back on track.

I started a nice plan in January and continued into February, but after my bestie lost his internet in March I stopped and wasn't motivated, because I had no one to talk about it with! Then I basically stayed lazy all through March and into April, then he got his internet back and we started talking again, but I stayed lazy. I work out like once a week and that's not going to get me anywhere. So, in order to stay on my plan I think posting each month will help. I mean if I lie, who am I really lying too? Only myself, right? Nothing's worst then having someone watch over something you do and then days, weeks or months later telling them you didn't do shit. Like it makes you look bad. Not in a way that you care what people think, but in a way like you can't keep up with anything you want to do or you're determined to do. So I'll be using the blog as a way to stay motivated, because it's like I have someone to talk to about it. Someone to be like, hey are you still working out? Have you lost any weight? Do you feel healthier and so on..

So, besides this you can probably expect the first real post at the end of May. Below I'll mostly just be posting my goals for the month of May and what I plan to do for working out. I'm going to treat this last week of April like it's May too. So it's like May's going to have 6 weeks in it. Then I'll be on schedule. Whether or not people comment doesn't matter. I'll keep comments enabled, but like I said I'll just be mainly posting to keep track for myself. Lastly, I thought I'd discuss my ultimate goal. Besides better health, appearance and all that I'm motivating myself with a photoshoot. I want to get professional pictures taken to use on my blog layout(one of which I will be designing in the future). I'm interested in a sort of street snap ulzzang feel. Nonetheless, I decided to hold off on the whole process until drop a disclosed amount of weight and so on. Of course when I get ready to have the pictures taken that will all be posted here.

So I was about to post this or schedule it to be posted and realized it was really confusing lol. I decided to go ahead and sort of breakdown everything. Basically I'm going to be posting monthly for the next 6 months. My birthday is in November and I want to tone up and slim down for my birthday. I'll be 21 and I have a lot of plans! So with that in mind, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep doing monthly posts about it after November. I might just add that information to other posts to continue talking about how well it works out. So for reference here's the workouts I'm looking at doing for the month of May. I chose workouts that were simple and would be a good start since I'm just a lazy little girl who prefers to sleep, but I'll also be incorporating eating healthier, drinking a hell of a lot more water and avoiding excess junk food. I'll be making healthier option swaps. I love Diet Coke, but I'll be drinking my carbonated waters and teas instead. I also love crisps and chips, but I....don't really know what I'm going to do about those. I may just skip them and eat popcorn or some sunchips and healthier kinds. I can't name them all, but whatever pops into your head when you think of healthy chips that's what I mean and if you don't think any chips are healthy, well then you're no fun!
These two were my main start. I saw this Before You Shower one at the last minute and thought, hey why not?! I don't understand how you do 50 reps of Marching or Jogging in place to I converted it to jogging in place for 2 minutes. I like the Body Rock one, because I know all those exercises and how to do them. -Exercise has a lot of awesome themed workouts, like the Catwoman Workout, Runway, Beach Body & Bomb to name a few. Those are the ones that I have in my iPod and plan to go through each month. The Body Rock is definitely the easiest, even though they're all considered to be on the beginner level. So you're bound to find one you like. I do the BYS every morning, literally before I shower and I only do the Body Rock on the weekdays.
After doing those for a while I didn't feel like I was working out enough. I like to sweat when I'm done working out lol. So, I added this in. It was reminiscent to one I had done from Downtownn on Tumblr and I liked that one, so I decided to this one. It's good anyway since around the early afternoon my days become a little slow and I can do this real quick for extra energy and jumping jacks are a great workout and get your heartbeat to increase and make you sweat.

So for May I'm not looking for an exact weight loss amount. I've found that I prefer seeing a difference in the way clothes it and just the way I look. Like have you ever woken up in the morning and looked at yourself and just looked thinner. Like you weren't even sucking it in. That's been happening too me practically all year. I wake up and go to the bathroom and I'm like, "Oh Alexis you look thinner. Good job!" and Alexis is like, "Yet I didn't workout. I love sleep." Then she's like, "Y'know after you eat you'll look bloated again." and I'm like, "Shut up, I know!" and she's like, "Not if you workout!!" Yes, I do have conversations in my mind sometimes and I refuse to believe everyone doesn't. The point of this post isn't my possible decent into insanity, it's about working out! So, after reading this completely useless paragraph hopefully you get the point of this post and maybe, just maybe you found some of my smexy inspiration pictures inspirational and you plan to workout too. My birthday is in fall, but just think. Next Spring Break and Summer when I'm 21 and can go slowly transcend into an alcoholic I'll be fitter and healthier as well!

Usually weight loss and health tumlrs/blogs suck and the people behind them are rude and so on, but these are so healpful. The one that stands out, is also the first one I ever visited and still love, is Downtownn. The amazing girl behind that one offers workouts, recipes and inspiration. Definitely check them out! I even made them into links so all you have to do is CLICK! I'm such a nice person! :'D
