So, I've been doing a lot of thinking about my blogging. I just realized it's been 2 weeks since my last post. So much for that one post a week resolution, huh? I also realized I haven't felt like blogging much. The problem is, I love blogging! I love having a blog, saying I have a blog and being a blogger. My goal is to take this blog much farther have it become incredibly popular. My ultimate goal in life is to be a famous blogger. To live off of blogging and to be known socially as a blogger, but that can't happen if I don't post! People don't want to read blogs if you don't update. I also realized that I wasn't blogging as openly as I want to. When I first planned to start a blog it's because I saw other bloggers who posted about simple things. Stuff they just bought, going out to eat, makeup tutorials or outfits of the day. I wanted to create a blog like that, but I wanted to have personal posts and muses when I felt like it, talk about video games I like and rant/rave about whatever the hell I feel like. So, I decided to overhaul my blog and start doing posts I want to more often. Next month will be one year I've had this blog and quite frankly it's nowhere I expected it to be by one year. I had imagined I'd have blogged a lot more and I also thought I'd have started my youtube channel by now. Blogging has lead me to meet soo many other amazing bloggers and has given me so many opportunities and I don't even update that often. So, I'm going to start trying to go back to posting about once a week or so. I also decided after lots of reading, looking at pictures and following new blogs, I'm going to start attempting my ulzzang fashion/look/lifestyle more each day, until I get to a point I like. I'll also probably be posting a lot of my progress pictures on here, my instagram and on my tumblr as I update it. So you can follow me on those..
Lastly, I decided to try a new-ish website. Basically, if you want a shot at dissapointment you should try it too lol. So, I like the idea, but they need better items. I'm not actually mad about what I got. It was only $10 and I like surprises, so it was fun. Basically, you pay $10 to get a random item sent to you. Of course on the site they show kindles, scarves, model airplanes and other pretty things. From what I've seen on people's instagrams and youtubes, they send a lot of scarves and some jewelry. Lots of sunglasses and ceramic cats(don't ask) and just plain stupid shit that YOU know THEY know nobody wants, like safety vests and tattered "designer" hats(I put designer in quotes, because they're hats from mall stores, but oddly the ones in the mall look better!). If you haven't figure it out yet or heard of the store, it's called SomethingStore.com !
I ordered from them, which I think proves I sometimes have nothing better to do with my money than waste it(although I do have things I could've bought, but instead I decided on THIS! actually it was decided for blogging purposes as I thought whatever I got I could blog and rate the site..). So, I got a small manila envelope with a lot of air in it(no kindle for me!).
I ended up getting *drumrollplease* ~badumtss~
Sunglasses!
Bleh, I like sunglasses, but I prefer to try them on. I have a rather large head and most sunglasses look ridiculously small on me. I did eventually try them on and they fit comfortably, but I don't think I'd wear them often. So on a scale of 1-10 I'd give the whole site a 7. The idea is a 10, but their items are a 3 or 4. I know it's suppose to be a surprise, but they should offer better items. I could go out with $10 and find a lot of cuter, better options. Will I order from them again? Most likely, sadly, probably. I know most people would ask why the hell would you order again?! I like surprises, I like random stuff and I'd have to give them a second chance for an item more relevant. There's a bunch of websites that offer you random stuff for set prices. This one has 2 high points for me! It's only $10 and it accepts PayPal. If more sites like Birchbox, ipsy, consciousbox, and so on had a buy one option that you could get with PayPal, I'd buy from them. Instead they're all little subscriptions and don't let me use PayPal. IMVU let me use PayPal for a subscription! Nonetheless. If you like randomness and wasting money, check out their site! Lastly, no I wasn't paid for this awful review and no I didn't receive my item for reviewing purposes. I paid a painful $10 and waited to receive the surprise inside! Better luck next time and even after this review there will be a next time.
Au revoir & have a good week!
